A Rising Tide

A Rising Tide stars Hunter Parrish (Weeds; Still Alice), Ashley Hinshaw (Chronicle; True Detective Season 2), Tim Daly (Wings; Madam Secretary) and Jonathan Togo (CSI: Miami; Mystic River). It's directed by Ben Hickernell (Lebanon, PA; Backwards) and produced by me and Daryl Freimark (Hairspray; Some Velvet Morning).

A Rising Tide tells the story of Sam Rama (Parrish), a young chef whose family's restaurant in Atlantic City is destroyed by Hurricane Sandy. Sam sets out to rebuild the restaurant and his life as he falls for a young woman (Hinshaw) who is also rebuilding her life. It's a love story, about his love for cooking, his relationship with his family, and two people falling in love when they least expect it - in the wake of disasters both large scale and personal.
